AI Features

Waafir is a secure data room with an AI workforce built in. As soon as a document is uploaded, the platform performs the work a deal team would otherwise do by hand: reading long files, organising them, answering questions about them, removing sensitive information, translating them, and identifying what is still missing before you open the room to investors.

This section documents each capability: what it does, when it runs, and what remains under your control. The AI proposes; you decide. Any action that changes a document, or what an investor can see, requires human approval.

Capabilities

  • Assistant (Chatbot / RAG) — ask questions in plain English and receive answers grounded in the documents in your data room, with sources cited. This is the conversational surface.
  • Agents overview — the AI workforce that summarises, redacts, reviews, organises, and translates. Start here for the model of how AI work is triggered, reviewed, and audited.
  • Custom agents — build your own agents on top of the same framework, with your own prompts, models, and triggers, under the same review and audit guarantees.
  • Redaction — automatically locate and black out sensitive information, with a review step before anything is applied.
  • Translation — translate documents while preserving their layout, and compare the original and translation side by side.
  • Readiness scoring — an AI assessment of how complete and investor-ready your data room is, and what is still missing.
  • Organise — propose a clean folder structure based on what the documents contain.
  • Watermarking — stamp every document view and download with the viewer's identity to deter leaks.

Key principles

The assistant and the agents are separate surfaces. The assistant is the chat interface; it answers questions and never changes your documents. The agents act on your documents, and any agent that changes a file or what an investor sees pauses for your approval. The Agents overview defines where that boundary sits.

No destructive action happens silently. Summaries and answers are generated automatically because they are read-only. Redaction, organisation, and translation produce a proposal that you review and confirm before it takes effect. Every AI action is recorded, so you can always see what the AI did and when.
