AI Organise
Organise restructures a hastily assembled data room into one an investor can navigate. The AI reads what your documents contain and proposes a folder structure, without you sorting files by hand. You preview the structure before anything moves.
How it works
You trigger Organise on a data room. The Organiser agent examines the documents you have, accounts for any folders that already exist, and proposes a structure: which folders should exist and which documents belong in each.
Nothing moves immediately. You receive a preview of the proposed structure — the folders it would create and where each file would go — and nothing changes until you confirm it. Reject the proposal and nothing moves.
Target structure
The Organiser is opinionated toward data rooms rather than personal file systems. It prefers:
- Broad, flat categories over deep nesting — a small number of clear top-level folders rather than nested hierarchies.
- Shallow depth — it creates a subfolder only when enough files justify one.
- Folders worth opening — it avoids isolating single files into their own folders; small groups stay with their parent.
- Reuse of existing folders — where you have already set up folders, it consolidates into them rather than creating parallel duplicates.
The result is a structure an investor can scan in seconds and immediately know where to look.
Automatic cleanup
When you confirm a proposal and files move into their new locations, folders left empty as a result are removed automatically, including parent folders that become empty in turn. The room ends up clean, not merely rearranged: you are not left with a new structure beside the hollowed-out shell of the old one.
When to use it
- After a bulk upload, before you invite anyone — convert a flat dump of files into a navigable room in one pass.
- When a room has grown messy over the course of a raise and needs a reset.
- Before a hand-off, so whoever picks up the deal inherits a self-explanatory structure.
Best practice
- Always review the preview. The default structure is sound, but you know which grouping matters for this deal. Check the preview against that before confirming.
- Organise before granting access. Investors should meet the tidy version; reorganising while people are in the room is disruptive.
- Run readiness scoring afterwards — a well-organised room makes gaps easier to spot.
Organise is one of the AI agents. Like the others that change the room, it proposes and you approve.
Readiness Scoring
An AI assessment of how complete and investor-ready your data room is — what the readiness score measures, how to read it, and when to act on it before going live.
Dynamic Watermarking
Every download is stamped with the viewer's identity in a way that fits the file format — strong burn-in for PDFs and images, PDF conversion for Word and PowerPoint, and a forensic identifier inside spreadsheets so a leaked copy still points back to who had it.
